Juniper Manors

Just imagine a beautiful, tree-lined pathway, complete with flowers and benches leading up to a well maintained complex, full of friends. Welcome home... this is Juniper Manor.

With a total of 60 one and two-bedroom apartments, Juniper Manor and Juniper Manor II provide homes that were designed with the needs of seniors, the disabled and handicapped in mind.  Juniper Manor I on Elm Street and Juniper Manor II on Pease Street, both in Trumansburg, are within walking distance of stores, churches, the bank and post office.

The apartments in Juniper Manor II are designed with more than average living and storage space.  All units have wall-to-wall carpeting in living and dining rooms.  Kitchens feature large appliances, and a pantry plus storage closet.  Each unit is electrically heated with individual thermostats for each room.

Many of the features at Juniper Manor help make it a nice place to live. For example:

  • Beautiful park-like setting, with picnic areas and gorgeous gardens
  • Community rooms in both buildings, where residents can share activities, host parties, and hold meetings
  • Each building is handicapped accessible, with an elevator and elevette, and each apartment is equipped with wide doors and large bathrooms with grab bars.
  • Each building has on-site laundry facilities , and mail delivery.
  • Public transportation comes right to the door of Juniper Manor I, and plenty of parking is available.

The rent at Juniper Manor is based on income. Residents pay a total of 30% of adjusted income for rent, including an allowance for utilities. To qualify for Juniper Manor I, applicants must be age 62 or over and/or disabled regardless of age and have an income of less than $25,150 for one person, or under $28,700 for two persons.
