Annual Dinner celebrates stories of housing success:
On February 8th, Better Housing Directors and Staff welcomed guests to celebrate "2300 Stories of Success...One great organization". Master of Ceremonies Jeff Bercuvitz, president of SPARKS! The Center for Leadership, Innovation and Community wowed the attendees with his inspiring, interactive message...that so much more is possible, and together, we have the resources to create more housing opportunity in Tompkins County.
Presentation of Community Builder awards went to Pastor Bob Clark, who has given countless hours in service to others, including throught he Group Workcamp program that helped dozens of county residents with home repairs. Bob Hunt, who recently retired from Better Housing, was also recognized for his leadership and belief in our mission.
David Long presented Adam and Amy Morris with the Libby Long Memorial Home Ownership Award and a
$500 gift card to Lowe's Home Improvement store.
The event left us inspired and ready to move into a busy 2008! Click here to see event pictures and a list of dinner sponsors and Annual Report Advertisers - great companies who believe in our mission!
